Mohsen Roostaie

Mohsen Roostaie is a conceptual painter and interdisciplinary visual artist whose practice investigates time, collective memory, social systems, language, and symbolic structures through contemporary painting and abstraction.

His artistic inquiry develops through four interconnected core series—TIME (2020–2021), SOCIETY (2022–2024), EDEN GARDEN (2024–2025), and ECHO (2025–Ongoing)—forming a conceptual progression from existential suspension and psychological duration toward social cohesion, linguistic resonance, and expanded forms of human continuity.

Parallel to his painting practice, O — The Engineering of Human Continuity serves as an expansive interdisciplinary research initiative structured as a nine-book series, translating his conceptual inquiries into macro-structural systems, speculative engineering, and civilizational design. Complementing this trajectory, The Fifth Season operates as an open-ended, site-responsive framework designed for place-based research, environmental translation, and intensive international residency contexts.

Monograph & Research Initiative

O — The Engineering of Human Continuity

O — The Engineering of Human Continuity is a long-term, nine-book interdisciplinary research and visual series bridging contemporary fine art, philosophical epistemology, speculative architecture, mathematics, and engineering systems. The project investigates civilization as a consciously designed architecture of relations, physical forms, and cognitive conditions essential for long-term human continuity. Its methodology combines large-scale visual studies, technical diagrams, mathematical formulations, structural schematics, and theoretical narratives. The framework is sustained by six disciplines: Art, Science, Philosophy, Architecture, Mathematics, and Engineering. The project expands the internal and psychological questions of the TIME, SOCIETY, Eden Garden, and Echo painting series into a macro-structural and civilizational scale. Nine-book structure: Book One — Theoretical Foundations and Ontology; Book Two — Transition to Maturity and Operational Infrastructure; Book Three — Engineering Motion and the Gravity Paradigm; Book Four — Matter, Structure, and Civilizational Industry; Book Five — Gravity, Spacetime Architecture, and Transcendent Horizons; Book Six — Foundations of Stargates and Their Operational Architecture; Book Seven — Galactic Network, Long Life, and Civilizational Continuity; Book Eight — Map, Protocol, and the Galactic Gate Network; Book Nine — Ecosystem, Knowledge, and the Sustainability of Civilization. Publication and curatorial roadmap: the Eden Garden exhibition initiates the cycle, followed by the sequential release of the nine-book series, and then the public presentation of Echo. Forthcoming / in preparation for phased rollout in 2027.
